Brant Casavant Brant Casavant was raised in a union household and has a keen interest in employees' rights. He graduated from Northeastern University with highest honors in 2003, and after graduating worked for the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office as a paralegal. In Law school, Mr. Casavant took a number of advanced courses in employment and labor law under Karl Klare, considered one of the foremost experts in the nation on those topics, and worked as a legal intern at both the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the United States Attorney's Office. Mr. Casavant has spent considerable time working on state and federal class actions involving failure to pay overtime wages, gratuities, and misclassification of employees as independent contractors. He has also worked on a number of union and labor issues, ranging from private arbitrations to hearings before the National Labor Relations Board. Education
